She's only 2-years old and fighting for her life. Despite her illness, her family and doctors aren't giving up hope. And a young woman is expecting a baby.  It will be the first child for an adoptive couple. But before there's a happy homecoming, the newborn must be delivered by cesarean section.

A woman with a life-threatening tumor undergoes emergency brain surgery and the NICU team comes to the aid of a premature baby in need of critical care.

A hospital employee becomes the patient when giving birth to a baby boy and a cardiac surgeon saves a man’s life by performing beating heart bypass surgery. Plus, the trauma team cares for a young boy who almost drowned.
